To mail a gift, click here for a printable donation form and mail it to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Inc., 103 Old Iron Ore Road, Bloomfield, CT 06002. Use the form to make an honor or memorial gift and we will send an acknowledgement to those whom you specify. If you prefer to call and charge your gift with your Visa, Mastercard, Discover or Amex, please call 860-243-5200.
IRA Charitable Rollover-Please read if you are 70 ½ or older!
The Pension Protection Act changed the rules for charitable gifts made from traditional individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and Roth IRAs. If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you are eligible to directly rollover amounts from your IRA to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation without claiming any increased income or paying any additional tax. These tax-free rollover gifts are limited to $100,000 per individual per year and they qualify toward your required minimum distribution. Currently, this provision is only in effect through December 31, 2007, so contact your IRA custodian today for the forms to take advantage of the IRA Charitable Rollover.

Stock Donations
When you donate appreciated stock to Fidelco, you can give more for less. First, you may avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in the value of the stock. Second, you might receive a federal income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift. You should always consult with your financial advisor before initiating a charitable gift arrangement. Federal Employees: Note new CFC designation Codes beginning Fall 2007
Fidelco is now included in the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign. We are listed under “National/International Independent Organizations.” Federal employees and postal workers can “Share the Vision” by designating a gift to Fidelco using our new Code #11513.
Matching Gifts
It is easy to double or even triple your gift to Fidelco if your employer has a matching gift program. Check with your human resources department for forms or directions for obtaining a matching gift. Retired? Many companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
